Hi, I am Yuejia (Nina) Zhang, a fifth-year Ph.D. student in Computational Mathematics at Fudan University, Shanghai, China. I am jointly supervised by Professor Weiguo Gao and Professor Yingzhou Li.
My research focuses on numerical linear algebra and high-performance algorithms for quantum chemistry, especially the development of efficient solvers for the many-body Schrödinger equation. I am particularly interested in coordinate descent methods, eigenvalue problems, and scalable implementations for electronic structure computations. I care a lot about performance, and I strive to bridge mathematical analysis with practical HPC software engineering.
I am also the HPC administrator of our research group cluster. Outside of research, I enjoy cycling 🚴♀️, cooking 🍳, and coffee ☕.
